In 1994 I became a Kansas and Missouri licensed real estate broker selling everything from Sears kit homes in the Ward Parkway neighborhood, to new construction property. Following a few more corporate relocations with my family, we moved to DesNn from Virginia in 2013.

My experience, and routinely taking courses, keeps my real estate knowledge current. Through coursework from National Association of Realtors I have earned multiple certifications. These include specialties in electronic media marketing (e-Pro), Military Relocation Professional and a certification focusing on real estate property sustainability (Green Designation). Along with corporate managerial, sales and technical training courses, I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. When it comes to comprehensive real estate practice, I can work with my customers’ unique challenges having requirements such as builder’s custom contracts, lending as well as FHA and VA loans, insurance and other relevant topics. I also enjoy working within the community on another level.

My transfer of nature-loving interests has also evolved from Coral Reef Conservation and Underwater Naturalist into community involvement that has thus far included 2022 President of the DesNn Garden Club and Okaloosa County Master Gardener Volunteer Educator of the year in 2024. I also speak on key naturalist topics such as pollinator gardening and “petscaping”, on avoiding toxic plants that can harm pets.
